From The Dubuque Telegraph Herald: Local economic leaders, politicians and social services providers gathered Wednesday morning to celebrate an Iowa-based nonprofit’s new Dubuque location.
Four Oaks Family and Children’s Services, together with its affiliate Affordable Housing Network, Inc., hosted a ribbon-cutting at the Four Oaks Alta Vista campus, 900 Alta Vista St., the former Visitation Complex.
AHNI purchased the property from Loras College earlier this year, and Four Oaks moved its Dubuque offices from 2460 Kerper Blvd. to the first floor of the Visitation building during the summer. AHNI eventually plans to create affordable housing units on the building’s upper stories.
